Dental Practice Updates
At ManiDental Family Practice, we have been working hard to improve our dental office. You will likely notice some changes the next time you visit. We are proud to show off some of the updates and renovations we have made to the waiting room, parking lot, and exterior areas of the practice.
Waiting Room
We renovated the waiting room in our dental office. When you enter the front entrance, you will immediately notice an open, welcoming area refreshed with updated paint. We’ve also hung up new paintings, installed a TV, and added more chairs so you can feel at home while you wait for your dental appointment.
Parking Lot and Exterior
We updated the parking area around our Elkin dental office by cleaning it up, planting new trees, and paving it for easier parking. We would like to give a shout out and huge “thank you” to Todd for helping us fulfill our vision with the trees.
Our parking lot also now has marked handicap spaces to ensure everyone has easy access to the entrance. There is plenty of space for both our dental staff and our patients to park.

Invisalign: An Alternative To Braces
Invisalign serves as an optimal alternative to braces for patients who need to close small gaps or straighten crooked teeth to renew the appearance of their smile. Invisalign is a teeth-straightening treatment that applies a custom-made, clear plastic aligner in place of traditional metal braces.
At ManiDental, we use Invisalign for mild spacing issues, and it serves as an excellent treatment option for minor tooth movement. We offer Invisalign in Elkin, NC, as a treatment option for patients who have severe crowding or spacing issues or want to make significant changes to their bite. A dentist or orthodontist best administers these treatments.

Invisalign FAQs:
Invisalign isn’t for everyone, so your dentist will first take a look at your teeth and bite to decide if you’re fit for it. If you are, an image of your teeth will be sent off to make a suitable custom aligner. You’ll be required to change to the next aligner every two weeks and come in for a checkup every six weeks to ensure that all is going accordingly.
The treatment duration varies with different cases. An average of 6 months to 1 year is required for minor cases. However, this is dependent on how much your teeth need to be moved and how well you adhere to the stipulated number of times you ought to wear the aligners each day.
The cost of Invisalign is the same as that of traditional braces. Also, the severity of your case determines the cost.

ManiDental Family Practice Golf Sponsor
ManiDental Family Practice performs its corporate social responsibility to the community by being the Refreshment Card Sponsor and Hole Sponsor for the 15th Annual Charity Golf Tournament – thus benefiting the Elkin Rescue Squad. WIFM and Vintage Rose Wedding Estate participate in hosting this yearly charity golf tournament. It’s held at Cedarbrook Country Club, 225 Country Club Drive, State Road, NC. If you’re interested in participating in 2022, stop by the Elkin Rescue Squad stationed at 813 North Bridge Street, Elkin, NC. ManiDental supports emergency responders.
Annual Elkin Rescue Squad Charity Golf Tournament
ManiDental Family practice is the recognized sponsor for the “29th Annual Irons in the Fire G&B Golf & Social”, which is hosted by G&B energy and benefits the Yadkin Valley United Fund. The tournament which was held at Cedarbrook Country Club in Elkin, NC, comprises a FOUR-MAN captain’s choice team with an 11:30 am shotgun start. Available at various locations on the course is a freshly grilled food and cold beverage selection. ManiDental Family Practice is pleased to support the Yadkin Valley United Fund.
