Meet Our Team
Dr. Nicole Manigault, DDS
Owner
Nicole Manigault completed her dental education at Indiana University’s School of Dentistry. From there, Dr. Manigault began working in public health in Roanoke Rapids, NC. She worked there for six years, before purchasing Jim Harrell, Jr.’s third-generation dental practice.
Dr. Manigault is excited to offer her dental acumen and passion for oral health to the Surry, Yadkin, and Wilkes County communities.
Dr. Manigault has been married to her husband, Nathan, since 2010. They grew up going to the same church, and both enjoy literature and having family members and friends over to fire up the grill. Nathan is an Eagle Scout who builds computers and enjoys going camping during his spare time.
The Manigaults have two wonderful girls, Adelynn and Natalia. Both girls are very lively and active and enjoy being a part of Elkin’s Wet Lightning Swim Team. You can catch Adelynn building forts and the way to Natalia’s heart is through anything colorful and glittery.
Marty
Certified Dental Assistant
Marty graduated from the Dental Assisting program at Wilkes Community College. She is married to her husband, James, and they have 2 beautiful daughters, Cassidy and Kyley.
Marty enjoys going to summer concerts, playing dominoes, and loving on her grandchildren who bring her so much joy! Marty’s idea of a perfect day is relaxing at the river with her husband and friends..
Marty’s favorite part of working in dental care is having the opportunity to make patients feel safe and at home, and making going to the dentist a positive experience.
Lisa
Patient Services Specialist
Lisa works at the front desk, and hers is the friendly voice you hear on the other end of the line when you contact us. Lisa also processes insurance claims, answers all of your billing questions, and schedules your appointments.
Lisa attended the Dental Assisting program at Wilkes Community College and graduated in 1991. Her years in the industry are a testimony to how much she loves working in general dentistry.
Lisa lives in Yadkinville with her husband, Keith, and their two mischievous cats. Lisa loves working outside in her yard and tending to her plants and flowers.
Sydney Hayes
Dental Assistant
Sydney recently started her dental career at ManiDental Family Practice. She graduated from East Wilkes High School and is certified in oral radiology from UNC -Chapel Hill. She plans to attend dental hygiene school in the near future. Sydney is a part of our front desk team and happy to assist you.
Sydney grew up in Elkin, NC and is still a resident here. She enjoys traveling, watching the Atlanta Braves, shopping, and spending time with her loved ones.
Mandy
Registered Hygienist
As a hygienist, my goal is to help my patients achieve optimal oral health so that they can live healthier and happier lives overall. My favorite part of dentistry is having the opportunity to connect with my patients and to help them implement better ways to care for their teeth at home. I want everyone to feel at ease and at home while in my chair!
Mandy earned her Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene from Greenville Technical College in 2013. Mandy is passionate about wellness from the inside out, enjoys making memories in new places with her husband and children, and loves to spend any free moments on any of the wonderful walking trails that Elkin has to offer.
Jayna Lewis
Registered Hygienist
Jayna Lewis grew up in Mount Airy, NC and went to Guilford Technical Community College, where she received her Associate Degree in dental hygiene in 2006. She has been working as a dental hygienist since her graduation and enjoys the relationships and trust she has built with her patients over the years, whether they come in for emergency services or a simple filling.
Jayna lives with her husband, Justin, and their cat, Molly, in Mount Airy. Jayna loves to have fun and laugh and feels so blessed to have been given such an amazing life. Some of her favorite things in life are travel, holidays, online shopping, “The Office”, visiting theme parks, music, all things Harry Potter, and spending time with her family.
Sarita
Dental Assistant
Sarita is from Australia, where she received her training as a dental assistant. She and her husband have two young boys, and they are enjoying living the small-town farm life here in North Carolina.
Sarita enjoys a quiet afternoon sipping coffee and reading.
Jessica
Dental Hygienist
Jessica graduated from Guilford Tech with her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene. She has over 20 years of dental hygiene experience and enjoys the relationships she has formed with her patients over the years. Jessica and her husband have two teenage sons and reside in Roaring River. On the weekends, she enjoys baking and relaxing with her family.
Juan
Business/Office Manager
Juan is the business/office manager at ManiDental. He has over 30 years of experience in leadership positions in the private and non-profit sectors. He was raised in Charleston, SC, and has lived in South Bend, Indiana and the greater Calgary, Albert, Canada area.
Juan received his undergraduate degree in English from the University of Notre Dame, and his Master of Science in Business Administration (Organizational Development) from Indiana University.
He loves family (especially his grandchildren) and serving the Lord Jesus Christ in ministry opportunities. He is a former teaching tennis professional, loves Notre Dame sports, and has been married to his wife, Kimberly, for over 40 years.
Melissa Phillips
Registered Hygienist
Melissa Phillips has been a dental hygienist for over thirty years in Elkin, but is originally from Wilkes County. She attended West Wilkes High School, then Guilford Technical Community College, where she graduated with her degree in Dental Hygiene.
Melissa now lives in Mooresville with her husband and their goldendoodle, named Buzz. Her daughter, son-in-law, and two beautiful grandsons live out of state and she enjoys visiting them often. Along with travel and reading, spending time with family are her favorite pastimes.
Misty
Billing & Insurance Specialist
Misty is originally from Southwest Virginia and has worked in healthcare administration for several years. She enjoys helping others and loves getting to know the patients and families who visit our office. Outside of work, Misty is a proud mom who enjoys spending time with her children, reading a good book, and traveling whenever she can. She also loves tackling new projects and is always looking for ways to learn and grow, both personally and professionally.
Ashton
Certified Dental Assistant
Ashton is a Certified Dental Assistant. She graduated from the Wilkes Community College Dental Assisting program.
In her spare time, Ashton enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, and horseback riding.
Ashton is our dedicated dessert maker for birthdays and events. She is very talented in the kitchen!
Kristy Jackson Boyd
Dental Hygienist
Kristy Jackson Boyd has worked as a dental hygienist for almost 30 years. She loves getting to know her patients and educating them for better dental and overall health. Kristy is from and still resides in Carroll County, Virginia. She is mother to two boys, Tanner and Grayson. Kristy enjoys gardening and caring for her chickens. She also has a new puppy, Harper, who is a handful!
Crystal Baker
Dental Assistant II
Crystal Anderson is from Elkin, NC and began her Dental Assistant career in 2012. Crystal is the friendly face assisting your dentist during your appointments, and she works hard to make sure your dental visit is fun and relaxing.
When Crystal is not working at the office, she enjoys spending time with her fiancé and son, Brantley. She also loves being outdoors, shopping, going to the beach, attending church activities, front porch sitting, and just living her life to the fullest.
Trena Cain
Patient Account Specialist/Dental Assistant II
Trena Cain grew up in Wilkes County, NC. In 2007 she graduated from the Wilkes Community College Dental Assisting Program. Since then, she has worked as an orthodontic assistant, general chairside assistant, and in the front office.
Trena loves working in dentistry and genuinely cares about the health and hygiene of each patient that comes into the office. Trena married her high school sweetheart, Houston, in 2008, and they have three children: Mason, Raegan, and Kennedy.
In her spare time, Trena enjoys spending time with her children and family.
Nancy Dimmette
Patient Services Specialist/Certified Dental Assistant
Nancy Dimmette has over thirty years in a variety of dental service roles. She is a certified dental assistant and has a tremendous knowledge of dental patient management systems. Nancy is part of our front desk team and offers patients guidance regarding dental services, scheduling appointments, and receiving payments.
She’s a graduate of Wilkes Community College, married to Maverick with two grown daughters and a granddaughter.
Nancy loves to spend time with family, biking and traveling. She has a talent making floral designs and gift baskets. Her happy place is the beach on a sunny day.
