I’m Kristy and I’m a hygienist at ManiDental Family Practice. One of my favorite tools to offer my patients is the Waterpik Waterflosser. Waterflossers remove up to 99.9% of plaque from treated areas, which is 50% more effective than using string floss alone. Waterpiks are great for cleaning around braces, implants, and crown and bridge work, which will help preserve and lengthen the life of your restorations!
I’m Jessica and I’m a hygienist here at ManiDental. My goal is to educate and equip you with all the right tools to take the very best care of your teeth. One way to do so is by replacing your manual toothbrush with an electronic one. Our favorite electronic toothbrush to recommend to patients is Sonicare. Sonicare brushes pulsate over 62,000 brush strokes per minute and effectively remove plaque, resulting in a cleaner mouth and easier cleaning appointments.
I’m Mandy and I’m part of our hygiene team here at ManiDental Family Practice. Everyone knows how important it is to get the right nutrients into our bodies in order to stay healthy, but many are not aware that there are also certain minerals that help protect our teeth. The most well known is fluoride, but other beneficial minerals are calcium and phosphate. When it comes to maintaining a healthy smile, calcium and phosphate are super important in making a big difference in overall oral health! We are happy to offer MI Paste products in a variety of flavors, which contain these beneficial minerals, and treat sensitivity, remineralize tooth enamel, and prevent white spot lesions.
